Taking care of my skin has always been important to me from as early as my teenage years.

I would always tell my sisters and friends to lotion up. As an adult, I would do the same at the workplace, with colleagues and even  with strangers.

I was just that passionate about promoting healthy skin care habits.

After the birth of my second child I was diagnosed with Lupus, an auto immune disease that can attack the immune system, the joints, the heart and you guessed it, the skin.

Lupus aggressively attacked my skin, starting with the scalp and progressively throughout my body.
